Aasttha and Prasann

Wildly brilliant energy and dancing at North Arm Farm in Pemberton

There’s no shortage of beautiful settings in our province, especially as you make your way up the Sea to Sky corridor and find yourselves in stunning Pemberton. We found ourselves there at North Arm Farm on a blistering August day, which was only about to heat up tenfold thanks to our dear friends and fellow artists, Aasttha and Prasann. We were in for one meaningful, love-filled wedding with Mount Currie as our backdrop and the good vibes carrying us into the night.

Black bears and resident wedding crashers edging near North Arm Farm. The most cheeky first look dance in the woods. An intimate Hindu ceremony sweeping us into a flurry of drumming, dancing, and wildly brilliant energy. Celebrating with red and white flowers as the farm’s sprinklers cooled us down a notch. Honouring fathers, mothers, sisters, and each other. Pedro the dog and his red bow tie and adorable underbite. Dining and dancing in a converted barn. Embracing that magical feeling of being newly married as the last of the light of Pemberton melts away. The party to end all parties. Delicious cuts of Super 8mm film.

Aasttha and Prasann, your immense kindness and full-spirited love are nothing short of amazing. That pure excitement we got to witness at your wedding? We hope this stays with you for all of your days.
